Yesterday
Finally separated my accounts after years of mixing everything. Used the Chapter 2 checklist and had it done in one afternoon. Cannot believe I waited this long. The clarity alone was worth the price of the book.

Question for the group — I am at $95k net profit and my CPA keeps pushing back on the S-Corp election. He says the admin burden is not worth it. Has anyone pushed back on this? The savings calculator in my downloads shows almost $8,000 a year.

James — at $95k with clean books, the math almost always works. The admin burden argument is valid but only if you are not already paying a CPA for quarterly reviews. Ask your CPA to model the savings net of the additional compliance cost. Chapter 1 has the exact factors the IRS uses for reasonable compensation. Bring it to that conversation.
